Hike e Fly.

Walking and fly with a Paraglider Tandem from the mountain.

Enjoy a gentle hike 8 km covering the higher trails of the canyon Barranco

de l'infierno and Las Aguas ravines, at altitude between 800mt to 1100 mt

and trough amazing landscapes. The descent is the icing of the cake :

an exiting paraglider tandem flight of about 20 mintes to the beach of La Caleta!

The duration of the hike is between 2 and 3 hours.

Price 135 euros included : transport, trekking guide, tandem paraglider flight,

lunch and drinks.

Price only hiking, without Tandem flight: 45 euros.

Level : easy trail, 300 mt in altitude, walking between 800 mt and 1100 mt.

We have a lot of good rocks for climbing in Tenerife.

In the deep canyons running through the slopes of Teide we find perfect natural volcanic rock cliffs, made of basalts, trachytes and ignites. They have the typical shape of crystalline rocks, with deep cracks and dihedral angles or walls with notches and holes.

In many cliffs we have ready equipped ways and traditional lines with friends and nuts. The difficulty grade starts from the 4th UIAA grade up to the French 8b.

On the Ucanca plain within the "Canadas del Teide" at a height of around 2100 meters we step into the monolithic peaks of Los Roques and alongside the crater we find remarkable walls, with a difference in height of up to 200 meters. Climbing here is traditional, with some bolted belay stations but all paths and routes here are considered classic. Difficulty grade starts from 4th.

The Tenerife Canyons (Barrancos) are well known for their typical great variety of rocks and the significant cliffs which are in some cases over 100 meters. They are normally dry, very rarely with running water, however after the winter rains some ravines offer waterfalls and pools similar to the continental canyons. The canyons offer multifold excursions with various different grades and duration, from half-day hiking only to one full day with abseiling and pothole swimming.
